Now, by this point in time I'm sure everyone has either read or at
least heard about this little series of books! If you haven't well...
you must live under rock because these books have been one of the most popular topics amongst
women everywhere!!
You may be wondering why? I've heard people who haven't read the books
say the books are nothing but porn in writing and yes that may be partially true
but this series has so much more than sex and BDSM.
This series runs so much deeper than that! I must admit when I first started
reading this series I actually had to stop because I was not expecting
bondage, whips, and "red room of pain"'s popping up. However, being a reader
I had to keep reading! All books must be finished, right?
Now we all know this series revolves around the
relationship of Anastasia and Christian. Ana, who is a 22 year old
college grad, finds herself pulled into Christian (multi millionaire) Grey's world of
sex, toys, riches, and a very very troubled past.
That's what really makes this series worth the read. It not only explores the world of BDSM,
but also Christian's horrible childhood that has left very deep and emotional scars
upon him. The question is can Ana show him that it's ok to open
his heart to love and to finally realize
that he is worth more than what he thinks he is?
All I can say is read it at least once and I promise you won't regret it!! It might make you blush or feel a bit embarrassed but come one even the most proper girls out there
imagine themselves in "positions" that Ana finds herself in. No pun intended. ;-)
Now in case you fellow readers didn't know, they are making a movie based on these books that should be released on August 1, 2014. As of right now there is really no news on the movie but below is the IMDB link if you are curious about its progress!!!
